Evolution Craft Brewing Installs Canning Line, Releases Lot No. 3 IPA

August 20, 2018 by Dow Scoggins

SALISBURY, Md. — After years of only selling their beer on draft and in bottles, owners Tom and John Knorr have been repeatedly faced with the question: “when will Evo come in cans?” We are excited to announce that the time has finally come. After months of searching for the perfect caning line, Evolution finally found one that meets their quality assurance standards.

About LOT NO. 3 IPA:
After traveling all the way across the world to pick up the perfect canning line, they’ve installed it and have released their first line of cans into the market.

For the first time ever, Evolution Craft Brewing Company has released their first line of cans.

When deciding on which brand to put into cans first, there was one obvious choice. Evolution’s flagship IPA, Lot No. 3 is a favorite of many and was the clear pick. Manufactured not only in bottles and on draft, but cans as well, you can now pick up Lot No. 3 in 12 packs on shelves near you.

Evolution’s recently refreshed Lot no. 3 IPA and Lot no. 6 Double IPA’S packaging and this can will be no different. Sporting the brighter, refreshed design on a slick 12 oz can, with the same great taste. The design is new to bottles this year and just finished making it’s transition into the market this past spring.

Lot No. 3 is their American-style IPA that is aggressively hopped at a rate of over 2 pounds per barrel. At 6.8% ABV, it carries juicy notes of citrus and pine which complement a reserved but firm malt backbone.

ABOUT EVOLUTION BREWERY:
., the leader of the Culinary Craft Beer movement, was founded by Tom and John Knorr in 2009. The brewery started in Delmar, Delaware and moved to Salisbury, Maryland in 2012 to meet growing demand. Evolution’s inspiration was born out of the Knorr brothers’ passion for pairing the great food at their restaurants with great craft beers.
