BLACK HAWK CO., Iowa — The Black Hawk Co. Sheriff’s Office teamed up with Lark Brewing to release a beer to raise funds for the upcoming U.S. Police Canine Association (USPCA) Narcotics Detection Trials.
The beer is called “Deputy Jarvis Golden Ale.”
The detection trials are hosted in Black Hawk Co. from March 26-28.
Partial proceeds raised from the limited edition beer will be donated by Lark Brewing to the Black Hawk Co. Sheriff’s Office to cover any hosting costs.
There will be a release party and fundraiser at Lark Brewing on Saturday, Jan 14 at 2:00 p.m.
There will also be Black Hawk Co. K9 Unit patches available for two donation prices, $5 and $10.
People that donate will receive a “Deputy Jarvis Golden Ale” 11″ x 14″ poster while supplies last.
Deputy Jarvis will be out at the event to meet and greet people as well.
