River North Brewery to Release 2 Double New England IPAs in Denver, Colorado

July 7, 2018 by Dow Scoggins

DENVER, Colorado — On Saturday, July 14th, River North Brewery will release two brand-new canned New England-style Double IPAs as part of Haze Appreciation Day. These juicy concoctions are the first in a series of limited, taproom-only can releases intended to allow its brewers to flex their muscle.

The stars of the show are:

Hop-A-Tronic Lupulositor (8.4% abv): A New England style double IPA brewed with oats, wheat and lactose, voluminously hopped with Mosaic, Simcoe & Idaho 7. $16 per 6pk/12oz, limit four six-packs per person, with approximately 40 cases available.

Flux Opacitor (8.3% abv): Because it’s opaque…get it?!? A NewEngland style double IPA brewed with oats, wheat and lactose, fanatically hopped with Citra & Mosaic. $16 per 6pk/12oz, limit four six-packs per person, with approximately 40 cases available.

To complete the celebration of cloudy, juicy hop bombs, RiverNorth will also tap five more hazy IPAs. They include:

Mountain Haze (6.5% abv): the brewery’s flagship NEIPA, available on draft or in six-packs to go. $12 per six-pack, no limit while supplies last.

Galaxy Mountain Haze (6.5% abv): classic Mountain Haze with an additional dry-hopping with Galaxy hops. $14 per Crowler, no limit while supplies last – single keg only!

Vic Secret Mountain Haze (6.5% abv): classic Mountain Hazewith an additional dry-hopping with Vic Secret hops. $14 per Crowler, no limit while supplies last – single keg only!

Milkshake Mountain Haze: one of two experimental kegs. RiverNorth will unveil details on their social media in the days leading up to the event. Available on draft and in Crowlers while supplies last – single keg only!

Super Secret Mountain Haze: for this final iteration, the brewery intends to run wild with the style…watch River North’s social feeds for details. Available on draft and in Crowlers while supplies last – single keg only!

Expect more limited can releases throughout the year based on the whims of the River North brew team. While these first two beers stick to the hazy IPA theme, that may not always be the case – this will be a true experimental series!

As independent Denver brewers established in 2012, RiverNorth Brewery crafts #AdventureFuel only available in Colorado, with a full lineup of crushable cans and cellar-worthy bottles. Like the brewery at facebook.com/rivernorthbrewery or follow and tag @rivernorthbrew on Twitter and Instagram.
