Brewers Association to New Brewers: Set ‘Realistic’ Growth Expectations(May 7) – According to Brewers Association chief economist Bart Watson, breweries founded after 2014 are driving the majority of segment growth. Those breweries collectively added 916,000 barrels to the category in 2017, which represents growth of 52.6 percent versus 2016. Colorado Brewery Warns Of Imposter Beer Cans(May 6) – One of Colorado’s own breweries is dealing with an unexpected problem.Odell Brewing said they accidentally sold cans of water which were marked as beer. The brewery hasn’t said how many cans are imposters, but they say if your can is stamped between the dates of Aug. 11, 2018 20:00 and Aug. 11, 2018 21:00, then you contact the brewery.
