DALLAS, TX – After 12 years, Lakewood Brewing Co. has filled its last bottle of Temptress. But don’t freak out, the beer that put the beloved Texas brewery on the map and reigns supreme as the best-selling craft stout in Texas, is now available in cans statewide!
“We’ve been transitioning the Temptress lineup to cans for a few years now. The Seduction Series and Temptress Nitro have been doing great in cans. It was time to switch 100%,” said Wim Bens, founder and president of Lakewood Brewing Co. “As we celebrate Stout Season, which will culminate with our 12th annual Bourbon Barrel Temptress release, beer lovers can now take all versions of Temptress anywhere, especially where glass isn’t allowed.”
Lakewood stressed that this year’s Bourbon Barrel Temptress will only be available at the Lakewood Taproom, will be released the weekend of December 6 with a ticketed VIP event featuring live Jazz, passed apps, rare beers, and other goodies. This year’s BBT will be fully available to everyone at the Taproom December 7.
In addition to the annual BBT release, Stout Season is also being toasted with many taproom-only releases. Each week in November Lakewood will reveal a new super-limited Barrel Aged version of Temptress.
Most notably known for its Temptress Imperial Milk Stout, Lakewood’s beer portfolio now includes year-round IPA’s, lagers, stouts, and popular seasonal offerings, all of which draw beer lovers to the Taproom at 2302 Executive Drive in Garland. To find Lakewood beers on grocery and craft beer shelves Texas-wide, the thirsty and the curious can use Lakewood’s online Beer Finder.
