Resolute Brewing Company – Morgan Forsyth, Colorado Craft Beer Promoter
It is unbeknownst to a lot of beer consumers the hard work and tenacious dedication it takes to open up a brewery. Resolute Brewing Company has been hard at work for quite some time now – and the highly anticipated Grand Opening is set for Friday, August 19th. Resolute will be the first brewery in the Denver Tech Center, and will be filled with a wide selection of beer styles sure to tickle your taste buds.
Head brewer Zac Rissmiller explained to me the philosophy behind Resolute Brewing – which stemmed from the four owners motto to “be resolute”. This philosophy encompasses being relentless and uncompromising in the quality of everything you do in life – whether it be your work ethic or taking care of what is important, and doing it in the best way you possibly can. Resolute Brewing Company is also very proud to be a member of their community and giving back to different organizations and charities that they will be volunteering for, sponsoring, and holding events at the brewery to raise money for several different and very important causes!
Zac came from Elk Mountain Brewing, where he won a silver medal at the 2015 Great American Beer Festival for the South German Hefeweizen category. After putting in three years of hard work at Elk Mountain and sealing in a medal for the brewery, he decided it was time to open up his own space to continue on his lifelong journey of brewing amazing beer. There will not be one beer style focused on at Resolute, either. Zac didn’t want to be “pigeon-holed” into brewing a specific style of beer on a regular basis – so you can be sure that there will always be something unique on tap for every type of beer lover.
The beers that will be available for the Grand Opening including a Brown Ale, Amber Ale, American Blonde, Hefeweizen, Porter, Double IPA, West Coast Red, Cascadian Black, and some limited release beers including a Honey Pale Ale, Coconut Porter and Passion Fruit Blonde that will be released throughout the opening weekend. The doors will open to the public at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 19th and there will be food trucks every day, plus door prizes and giveaways all weekend long!
