Brotherton Brewing Company Reopens in Atco, NJ Under New Ownership with Community-Focused Taproom

July 4, 2026 by Dow Scoggins

Brotherton Brewing Company

ATCO, New Jersey (June 24, 2026) — Brotherton Brewing Company, a beloved South Jersey brewery and taproom, is excited to announce its grand reopening on Saturday, June 27, 2026, under new ownership. Led by hospitality veteran Eric De Angelis, the brewery will continue on-site production while transforming the space into a welcoming community hub with live music, trivia, special events, and private party buyouts. The taproom is family-friendly and open to guests of all ages.

To celebrate the reopening, Brotherton will host two full days of family-friendly festivities on June 27 and 28. On Saturday, enjoy live music from Fin and Uncle John’s Band (2–9 PM) plus food from The Nugget Chicks. On Sunday, Grace Haley performs, with food from JAMS Eats and JR Hot Dogs, new drink releases including a house-made non-alcoholic root beer, and fun activities like face painting.

Fresh Beer Lineup & Elevated Guest Experience

Joining as Head Brewer is Kyle Lieving, an innovative brewer with experience from top Charleston, SC breweries including Commonhouse Aleworks and Chucktown Brewery. The taproom will open with 10 rotating beers and hard seltzers, including the flagship Brotherton IPA, pilsners, sours, hefeweizen, kölsch, and hazy IPA. Prices range from $5–$7.50, with options for full 16-oz pours, half pours, or tasting flights. Non-alcoholic options are also available.

Guests can purchase six-pack cans to-go during all operating hours, with plans for expanded distribution to local restaurants, bars, and retailers throughout South Jersey.

“Our goal is for Brotherton to become synonymous with community,” said owner Eric De Angelis. “We’re pairing amazing beer with a first-rate guest experience, more comfortable seating, an immersive layout, and regular events that encourage people to settle in and stay awhile.”

Taproom Details & Hours

The refreshed taproom at 2208 Atco Avenue features 15 bar seats, 40 tables/booths/benches, and shaded patio seating in the beer garden. It’s perfect for dates, small groups, larger parties, and private events.

Opening Hours:

Tuesday–Thursday: 5 PM – 9 PM
Friday: 4 PM – 10 PM
Saturday: 12 PM – 10 PM
Sunday: 12 PM – 7 PM
