Goat Patch Brewing Announces its New Canned West Coast IPA

March 10, 2026 by Dustin Scoggins

Goat Patch Brewing Co. - Brewery Colorado Springs, CO - Truckster

Colorado Springs, CO – Goat Patch Brewing Company, the Colorado Springs-based brewery celebrated for its balanced brews and multiple GABF, World Beer Cup, and other awards, is expanding its IPA lineup with the release of Goat Patch West Coast IPA – now available in cans for the first time.

Long a favorite on draft and known for its popular hazy IPAs, this crisp, intensely hoppy West Coast-style IPA features a trifecta of classic Pacific Northwest hops: Mosaic, Citra, and Simcoe. Brewed on a super-dry grain bill with a Pilsner base to let the hops shine, it clocks in at 6.7% ABV and 58 IBUs for a refreshingly dry finish, piney bitterness, and vibrant citrus and tropical notes.

“We brewed this with a super-dry grain bill, a Pilsner base to really showcase the hops,” said Co-Owner and Director of Production Operations Darren Baze. “It tasted great brewed on our pilot system, and we’re excited to release this beer on a larger scale.”

Find Goat Patch West Coast IPA on tap and in 6-pack cans at all three Goat Patch locations:

Lincoln Center (headquarters in Colorado Springs)
Northgate (Colorado Springs, featuring Grazing Goat Pizza Kitchen)
Monument (recently transitioned under the Goat Patch brand)

It’s also rolling out in kegs and cans to bars, restaurants, and retailers throughout Colorado Springs, Monument, and surrounding areas. The beer will be available through springtime while supplies last.

This release broadens Goat Patch’s IPA offerings, giving fans a clear, bold alternative to their hazy favorites while staying true to the brewery’s commitment to balanced, high-quality craft beer.

About Goat Patch Brewing Company

Goat Patch Brewing Company began as a dream among good friends sharing a passion for great beer around a kitchen table. Named in a nod to co-owner and head brewer Darren Baze’s signature beard style, the brewery was founded on core values: balanced brews, strong community ties, and a spirit of adventure. Since opening in Colorado Springs, Goat Patch has earned prestigious accolades, including medals at the Great American Beer Festival (2018, 2020), World Beer Cup (2022, 2024), and many more. With three welcoming taproom locations – Lincoln Center, Northgate (with pizza kitchen), and Monument – Goat Patch continues to deliver award-winning craft beer to the Pikes Peak region.
