Public Coast Brewing Co. Releases Raspberry Tart Ale and Violent Violet Double Hazy IPA for 10th Anniversary in Cannon Beach

June 28, 2026 by Dow Scoggins

Public Coast Brewing

CANNON BEACH, Ore. (June 11, 2026) — Public Coast Brewing Co. is kicking off summer in style while marking a decade of craft brewing on the Oregon Coast. The beloved Cannon Beach brewery has just released two limited-edition beers: the fan-favorite Raspberry Tart Ale and the highly anticipated Violent Violet Double Hazy IPA.

Both beers are part of Public Coast Brewing’s year-long 10th-anniversary celebration, highlighting standout recipes that fans and brewers love.
“We’re excited to welcome back Raspberry Tart Ale and Violent Violet Double Hazy IPA,” said Will Leroux, brewer at Public Coast Brewing Co. “Violent Violet is especially meaningful because it was created in collaboration with Big Dogs Brewing Co. Working together to combine our expertise and creativity was a rewarding experience and a perfect way to celebrate 10 years of brewing and serving the Cannon Beach community.”

Raspberry Tart Ale – A Refreshing Summer Sour
The returning Raspberry Tart Ale is a bright, citrusy sour ale packed with the flavor of fresh raspberries. Brewed with raspberry purée and Lemondrop hops, this 5.7% ABV beer strikes a perfect balance between sweet and tart. It’s an ideal companion for beach days, hiking, or any warm-weather adventure along the Oregon Coast.

Violent Violet Double Hazy IPA – Local Blueberries Shine

Violent Violet Double Hazy IPA showcases one of Public Coast’s signature strengths: using locally grown blueberries from its own Public Coast Farm. Clocking in at 7.0% ABV with a generous double dry-hop profile, this hazy IPA delivers bold hop character balanced by the subtle sweetness and vibrant fruit notes of fresh blueberries.

Both new releases are available for a limited time on draft at the Public Coast Brewing Co. brewpub in Cannon Beach and in convenient 16-ounce four-packs to take home.

Live Music & 10th Anniversary Events

As part of the year-long celebration, Public Coast Brewing is hosting live music every Monday from 5–7 p.m. Be sure to follow @publiccoastbrewing on Instagram for the latest lineup, food specials, and upcoming anniversary events.
