Urban South Brewery Brings Back Paradise Peach – A Juicy Summer Lager for 2026

June 28, 2026 by Dow Scoggins

Urban South Brewery

NEW ORLEANS — Urban South Brewery is welcoming summer 2026 with the return of its popular seasonal release, Paradise Peach. This refreshing fruit-forward American lager combines juicy peach flavor with the crisp, clean finish that fans love from the brewery’s flagship lagers.

Paradise Peach delivers an easy-drinking experience with subtle sweetness and balanced character, making it the perfect beer for hot Louisiana days, backyard cookouts, and coastal getaways across the Gulf Coast.

A Refreshing Twist on a Classic American Lager

At just 4.4% ABV and 10 IBU, Paradise Peach keeps things light and approachable. It blends the clean, crisp profile of a traditional American lager with vibrant peach notes, creating a smooth, fruit-forward aroma and a light body that’s ideal for warm-weather sipping.

“Paradise Peach is a testament to our passion for experimenting with familiar styles and introducing bold, approachable flavor combinations,” said Jacob Landry, Co-Founder of Urban South Brewery. “This unique brew allowed us to create something refreshing and balanced for our audience to enjoy in the summer.”

Where to Find Paradise Peach
The seasonal beer is now available for a limited time on draft in the Urban South taproom and in 6-pack and 12-pack cans at select retailers throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. While supplies last.

Beer lovers can use Urban South’s convenient Beer Finder tool on their website to locate Paradise Peach at stores and bars near them.

About Urban South Brewery

Urban South Brewery was founded in 2016 in New Orleans by Jacob Landry and Kyle Huling, two LSU graduates with a shared passion for quality craft beer. The idea took root when Jacob, a Cajun from Southwest Louisiana, spent time in Europe during college and experienced traditional Belgian, English, and German beers firsthand. Disappointed by the mass-market lagers common in South Louisiana, he returned determined to bring better beer to the region. Partnering with Kyle Huling, who brought years of experience in craft beer distribution, the duo opened their production facility and taproom on Tchoupitoulas Street. From the start, Urban South focused on blending European brewing heritage with bold American innovation, creating approachable, climate-friendly beers that celebrate Southern culture and community.

In the years since opening, Urban South has grown into one of Louisiana’s largest and most awarded breweries. The company expanded with an R&D brewery and taproom in Houston in 2020 and has continued releasing popular flagships and creative seasonal beers like Paradise Peach. Known for its vibrant taproom, community events, and commitment to quality, Urban South remains deeply rooted in New Orleans while distributing across the Gulf Coast. The brewery continues to embody its motto of “urban soul and southern heart,” inspiring fellowship through great beer in the relaxed spirit of the South.
