Recognizable by their by their memorable labels, and nailing the perfect hazy recipe, the brewery is the perfect spot to eat, drink, and enjoy one of the best neighborhoods in Portland.
Started in 2014 by two New York boys, Dan Malech and Rob Lutz, the brewery has remained at the top for small, local, craft breweries in Portland. StormBreaker is located in Portland’s historic Mississippi Avenue district. When sitting on their 2,500 square foot patio, you are in the perfect area in Portland to relax, take in the culture, and truly experience some of the best craft beer the city has to offer.
In May of 2018 the pair opened their second location on North Lombard in the St. John’s neighborhood. This trendy neighborhood has grown exponentially in the last few years. The St. John’s brewpub is 7,200 square feet, with a full patio, kitchen, bar, and soon to be a production brewery. If you want to experience something true to Portland, you can check out their custom built axe throwing cage by Portland Axe Throwing located in the new brew pub.
