La Vista, Nebraska – With the issues that we all face relative to Covid-19, Nebraska Brewing Company made the difficult decision to move the 2020 release window of its highly anticipated Barrel Aged Stout MOAB into mid-June.
MOAB is the star of the NBC barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout line which includes Black Betty and Sexy Betty which are aged in whiskey and brandy barrels respectively. MOAB is the only beer in the NBC line which is aged in a collection of bourbon barrels.
One of the most recent additions to our Reserve Series; M.O.A.B. is an amazingly balanced, double mashed Russian Imperial Stout. A rich sweetness meets a hearty roasted malt character to provide unique depth to a classic style. After finishing a 6-month maturation process in four different bourbon barrels, the beer is blended to create a finished product that was destined to impress both today and for years down the road.
Paul Kavulak, President of Nebraska Brewing Company stated: “Currently, the largest stout in our line, MOAB embodies the flavors and character that we love so much. This happens to be our most highly rated beer according to Ratebeer at 99.3 points. While we’re proud of that rating we ask that you don’t take our word for it – you should try it for yourself and share with a friend. We think you’ll be very pleased that you did.”
