Odell Brewing & Future Arts Foundation Announce Cellar Sessions Show with Langhorne Slim

March 19, 2018 by Dow Scoggins

Fort Collins, Colorado – Odell Brewing and The Future Arts Foundation are proud to announce the launch of The Cellar Sessions, a new series of private, live performances in the Odell Brewing barrel-aging cellar, featuring renowned musicians from across the country. The first Cellar Session will host Langhorne Slim on Friday, on April 20th.

The experience will have limited seating of 50 people and last from 3:30 – 5:30pm on Friday, April 20th. Tickets for the show will not be for sale, but fans will have a chance to win by listening to 105.5 The Colorado Sound for on-air giveaways. Fans can also follow Odell Brewing and The Future Arts Foundation’s social media or visit www.odellbrewing.com/cellarsessions for details on how to enter to win a pair of tickets.
Future Arts Foundation is a Boulder based non-profit that supports music education in grade schools. As part of their Seasonal Charitable Partnership, Odell Brewing and Future Arts Foundation (F.A.F.) invited Langhorne Slim to perform an intimate, acoustic set in the brewery’s barrel aging cellar.

“When Future Arts Foundation became Odell’s first Seasonal Charitable Partner, it meant a lot to our organization and the impact it could make in our community,” explains Travis Albright, Founder of F.A.F. “This is a celebration of that partnership and a moment to recognize the impact music education can make from a talented and successful musician like Langhorne Slim.”

Guests at the show will have a chance to learn more about F.A.F.’s year long fundraising campaign to open The Bluebird Arts House. This youth arts house, located on Colorado’s Front Range, will offer free and reduced rate music and art lessons, as well as host films, concerts, and more.

“Everyone knows beer tastes better when it’s serenaded by talented musicians,” explains Karla Baise, Community Outreach Coordinator at Odell Brewing. “We’re so humbled to have the opportunity to host such an amazing musician and share this experience with some lucky fans.”

The Cellar Session will include performances by opening act, Maxwell Hughes, followed by a short set from the headliner, Langhorne Slim. Admission to the event will include pours of some of Odell’s most celebrated barrel aged beers. Guests will get to explore the barrel cellar and talk to brewers about the beer aging before their eyes. Guests will also get to take home a gift bag and 750ml bottle of one of Odell’s vintage Cellar Series beers. To enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to this exclusive event visit www.odellbrewing.com/cellarsessions.
