Mishawaka, Indiana – Sun King Brewery, one of the leaders of the independent craft beer movement in Indiana, is excited to announce plans to open a tap room in Mishawaka, Ind.
The tap room will be located at The Mill at Ironworks Plaza, a mixed-use residential development located adjacent to Beutter Park, on the St. Joseph River, approximately 15 minutes from South Bend, Ind., and the University of Notre Dame. The new Sun King Mishawaka Tap Room is projected to open in the summer of 2022 and will be Sun King’s sixth tap room in the state.
Once open, Sun King Mishawaka customers will be able to taste and purchase a wide variety of Sun King’s core, seasonal, specialty, barrel-aged and sour beers. Carry-out cans, growlers and kegs will also be available for purchase. The entire 5,000-square-foot facility will be family friendly for all ages, with the exception of the bar area.
Sun King is excited to bring the food hall concept to Mishawaka through a partnership with Indianapolis restaurateur Neal Brown and his company, Howe and Brown Hospitality Group, which currently operates the restaurant concepts in Sun King’s Fishers location. Smash burgers from One Trick Pony and tacos from Cholita will complement Sun King’s delicious beers inside the tap room or outside on the patio.
